1.Wx型在低、中、高各频的环境下，消声量较平直、消声量大，在低频环境下起消声效果尤其明显。

2.其外管是采用镀锌金属板，内管采用薄金属板（钻以孔径小于1mm，穿孔率在1～5%间的微孔），内外管采用槽型骨架强化固定，通过微穿孔板上不同的穿孔率与板后不同的腔深有机组合，可以在较宽的频带内获得较为良好的消声效果。
